A series on the old bunkers that can be found on beaches along the french coastline. The bunkers were built by Nazi Germany between 1942 and 1944, as part of the Atlantic Wall and have never been fully removed after the war ended. As dunes migrate inland these colossal structures of war are left to decay on the beach while at the same time being integrated into the day to day beach life of tourists and locals alike.
